Sakura

Sorry, suckers. Wakaba and Oscar and I are sticking around in Tokyo a little longer. I'm staying until next week and Wakababy and the kid are coming back to Parkdale nine days later. It looks like we might get a chance to see the sakura (cherry blossoms) in full bloom if we're lucky. It's a huge deal here, and everyone says its really beautiful. I've never been here for sakura season before, so I'm looking forward to it. The picture above is of an early-blooming variety of sakura in Ueno Koen, a huge park in downtown Tokyo. Wakaba says these are nice and everything, but the real sakura are much better.
