Akihabara Electric Town is where people come to buy computers, porn, and comic books. Basically, it's a whole neighbourhood for nerds (or otaku, as nerds are known here). The big craze in Akihabara right now is for Maid Cafes, where the waitresses dress up in french maid outfits and act like their nerdy customers are actually really cool. This has launched a worldwide craze among nerds. I hear there's a maid cafe in Scarborough now too.
