Harajuku Oyaji

I love these dudes. Apparently, years ago tons of people would go to Yoyogi Park on Sunday afternoons to dance - including these rockabilly revivalist types. It's totally out of style now, but these guys were out last weekend in full effect. They dance these synchronized routines to totally distorted cd's blasting out of a Fender guitar amp. They're really serious about their lost cause, never acknowledging the crowd of onlookers at all even when people applaud. Most seemed like they were in their 30's and 40's, and some much older guys were hanging around the edges. I can't imagine this happening anywhere else in the world. I admire their dedication.
