do the stroll

We hit the streets a couple of times this week with O.T. He's not huge on the idea of leaving the house yet, but we made it to the coffee shop around the corner a couple of times and all the way over to the library one day. OK, so its only a few blocks but if you don't find that impressive, I suggest you hang out with more two-week-olds. They stick pretty close to home as a general rule. Oscar has never been outside of Parkdale in his entire life, much like many adult residents of Parkdale. Anyway, the stroller is pretty fun. You definitely feel like an official capital-d Dad pushing one of these suckers around.

Max and Sarah also dropped by with a gift of this Rolls Royce of a pram this week. It's kind of Goth. It's roughly the size of our house. We haven't road-tested it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Look out, Roncesvalles.
