Back in business

Hi, Chico always writes the blog and writes about me and Oscar. It is my turn to write something on Magurobashi.
I have a great news to share. Oscar is eating well. He is gaining weight. The doctor told me that newborns should gain 30 gm every day. We had to go to see the doctor again to follow-up about his weight on Friday. Oscar has gained more than 30 gm a day. In the last 2 days, he put on 50 gm a day! Chico & I are very happy and proud of that. What a team effort! Now we can start to breast feed him whenever he's hungry - it doesn't have to be exactly every 2 hours anymore. I hope we will have more sleep.
Chico has been great helping me around the house and Oscar. I am pretty sure that he change the diapers more than I do, and I have not touched the washing machine and dryer since we got them just before Oscar was born. I have to say that a baby is a messy creature. He goes through his entire wardrobe in one day sometimes. Chico is always doing laundry. Oscar is growing. Every day, he is more awake than the day before. It is pretty amazing that one week makes so much different for this tiny creature. He likes taking sponge bath. We were nervous about the bath time but we did it!
Sorry, I'm tired now so that's all I can write for now, and Oscar is awake and hungry.
