We went to see the doctor and she says that everything looks fine, but we'll need to induce Wakaba's labour because the baby's almost a week late and he or she is getting big. So we go the hospital tomorrow for the procedure, and then come back on Thursday to deliver the baby. We will be holding our kid the day after tomorrow. If all goes as planned the kid's birthday will be July 27, 2006.

Wakaba's dad's birthday is September 27.
I met Wakaba when I was 27.
Wakaba says her favourite age was 27, because it sounds cool. Mature, but not over the hill. Top of the hill.
27 is a good number.

The baby will be a Leo, and 2006 is the year of the Dog in Chinese astrology. You can do your own research on what this means, because I don't believe any of that crap.

We're tired and nervous and excited and about to watch as many episodes of Lost on DVD as we can before we pass out. Good night.
