six days until I hand out cigars

This is me and my dad in a photobooth when I was maybe 5 or so. I'm the short guy with the dirty face. He's the one with the Buddy Holly glasses and the indie rock moustache 25 years early. I'm not sure how much I ended up looking like my old man, but I know we liked a lot of the same books and records. And I'm not sure if this kid will look like me or his mom or his grandmoms or his aunts and uncles or what. But I hope we like some of the same books and records. And if the kid wants to wear Buddy Holly glasses someday, that would be fine too.
